Neither Hamptons tabloid podcast, nor Hamptons news in review podcast, OUR HAMPTONS is dedicated to eastern Long Island history and folklore, an embrace of preservation, and an absolute celebration of our rich sense of place. Longtime East Hampton residents Esperanza Leon and Irwin Levy engage in conversations you'll want to eavesdrop on.
Esperanza Leon and Irwin Levy have been friends for over 20 years, and their conversations about art, ideas and respect for eastern Long Island have been going on ever since. A Springs weekender since 1989, Irwin moved here full time after selling his business in 2021. Wanting a second "career", Irwin approached Esperanza about sharing these conversations on a podcast. Esperanza agreed, and Our Hamptons Podcast was born. Irwin, no longer constrained by 60-hour work weeks, dove into his role as producer, researching stories both obvious and obscure. Esperanza's art history background dialogues perfectly with eastern Long Island's sense of place. Esperanza shares her rich insights, deep knowledge and personal experiences of an area she's lived in since arriving from Venezuela at the age of 5. It was an ideal match, and the on air chemistry Esperanza and Irwin share is apparent to all who listen.
